About Golden Avenue

Golden Avenue is a lush, open-armed take on Middle Eastern flavour. Smoky charcoal, woodfired breads, and garden terrace energy all come together under one roof. From mezze to mastiha, Habibi Funk to high-heat grills, Golden Avenue brings rhythm, smoke and sound to the heart of Brisbane. 

The Role

Golden Avenue is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender to join the bar team. This is a hands-on role in a high-paced environment, perfect for someone who takes pride in service and thrives on delivering refined yet warm guest experiences.You will work closely with the floor team to execute beverage service that complements the character and rhythm of the venue, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, precision, and efficiency behind the bar.

• Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume or quality-driven venue
• Confidence in classic and contemporary cocktail preparation
• Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and non-alcoholic offerings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across bar and floor teams
• A calm and composed demeanour during high-pressure periods of service
• Attention to detail in presentation, cleanliness, and organisation
• A positive and respectful approach to team culture and shared responsibilities
• RSA required
