About Golden Avenue

Golden Avenue is a lush, open-armed take on Middle Eastern flavour. Smoky charcoal, woodfired breads, and garden terrace energy all come together under one roof. From mezze to mastiha, Habibi Funk to high-heat grills, Golden Avenue brings rhythm, smoke and sound to the heart of Brisbane. 

The Role

Golden Avenue is looking for a hands-on Supervisor to help lead the front-of-house team in our new Middle Eastern concept. You will support the Restaurant Manager in coordinating smooth service, maintaining high guest standards, and mentoring junior staff across shifts. This role is ideal for someone calm under pressure, confident in floor operations, and committed to team culture.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior FOH role within a quality-driven restaurant
• Confidence in leading pre-service briefings and coordinating teams during service
• A calm and solutions-focused approach to guest concerns and feedback
• Commitment to mentoring and developing team members through clear communication and support
• Understanding of basic financial procedures such as daily cash-up and POS checks
• Familiarity with compliance, health and safety standards, and shift-opening/closing protocols
• Ability to contribute to stock control and waste reduction practices
• Collaborative mindset with a strong interest in team culture and morale
• RSA certificate required
