About The French Exit 

The French Exit is Brisbane’s ode to Paris, alive with clatter, candlelight, and the European perfume of butter and wine. Steak frites, duck à l’orange, escargot, and soufflé are served with soul, while wine makes for the heartbeat with over five hundred bottles carefully chosen. The tables are close, the energy unfiltered, and every detail whispers 'bistrot'. 

The Role

In preparation for the opening of The French Exit we are looking for experienced and engaging Hosts. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them with professionalism and warmth while managing reservations, walk-ins, and guest flow. You will work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure each guest’s experience begins and ends seamlessly, supporting the culture and high standards of Anyday’s new venue.

• Previous experience as a Host or in guest-facing roles within hospitality
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage bookings, arrivals, and guest seating efficiently
• Calm and professional approach in a fast-paced environment
• RSA Certificate required
• Experience using SevenRooms highly regarded
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
